These Terms govern your use of PlotTwist (the "app"), provided by Chiril-Adam Macari. By using the app, you agree to these Terms.

The service

PlotTwist offers one AI-generated, real-world "side quest" per day, a way to record proof, and a collectible reward loop. Quests are lighthearted suggestions, not instructions you must follow.

Do quests safely and lawfully

You are solely responsible for what you choose to do. Only attempt a quest if it is safe, legal, and appropriate for you in your circumstances. Do not trespass, break any law, endanger yourself or others, or override your own judgment because the app suggested something.

Skip or reroll any quest you are not comfortable with. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from activities you choose to undertake.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 (or the minimum age in your country) to use the app.

Your content

You keep ownership of the photos you capture. Because they stay on your device, you do not grant us a license to them. You are responsible for having the right to photograph what you photograph and for respecting others’ privacy.

Subscriptions and billing

PlotTwist offers an auto-renewing subscription, billed monthly or annually. Payment is charged to your Apple or Google account at confirmation of purchase.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel anytime in your App Store or Google Play account settings.

Prices are shown in the app before purchase and may vary by region. Except where required by law or by store policy, payments are non-refundable. Entitlements are managed via RevenueCat.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the app: no reverse-engineering, interfering with its operation, or using it for anything unlawful.

Intellectual property

The app and its content, mascots, and branding are owned by Chiril-Adam Macari or its licensors and are protected by law. These Terms do not grant you rights to them beyond using the app as intended.

Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Quest suggestions are generated by AI and may be imperfect; we do not warrant that any quest is suitable for you.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chiril-Adam Macari will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for activities you choose to undertake based on a quest. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Chiril-Adam Macari from claims arising out of your use of the app or your violation of these Terms.

Termination

You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or end the service, or these Terms, if you misuse the app or as otherwise required.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Moldova, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
